Surgical Packages

Consistent with CMC's thrust to provide health care services to as many people possible, it now offers special services for the surgical needs of the financially challenged.

The surgical packages cover minor, medium and major surgical cases from simple excisions, appendectomies, herniorrhaphies, and hemorrhoidectomies, to more difficult cases like cholecystectomies, thyroidectomies, mastectomies, gastrectomies, and colon surgery.

The packages include the services of the surgeons (both resident and consultant-in-charge), medicine, operating room and the recuperating room (ward) charges. The rates range from a low of P2,000.00 for minor surgical cases with Medicare facility to about P12,000.00 for major cases.

Those wishing to avail these services may apply with the Chief Resident of the Department of Surgery, Dr.Luis Francis Tanco. The doctor personally handles the cases along with the service consultant and has some five years experience dealing with all kinds of cases.
