MEDICAL STAFF PARTY AND EMPLOYEES’ PROGRAM
On the occasion of its 45nd anniversary, Capitol Medical Center celebrated on June 21 & 22, 2012, the Medical Staff and Employees service awards respectively at the Elements, Centris Quezon City. Both programs were SAFARI themed with the attendees wearing animal print dresses/safari attires. For the Doctors, there were about 90 medical staff and guests who attended the affair and a few of them are awardees from the 25, 30, 35 and 40 years. The Employees’ Program was well attended by majority of the workforce, and awardees from 5, 10, 15, 20 ,25 , 30 and 35 years inservice were handed their respective certificates/plaques and envelopes.
Highlights of both programs were the production numbers some of which were excerpts from animal themed movies were rendered by no less than the doctors from the different clinical departments for Medical staff party. On the part of the employees, the performance ala American Idol by no less than our own Cora Ebarvia as Jennifer Holiday and Aster Nojara as Jessica Sanchez was a hit making the two performers instant Celebrities. It was capped by a dance video titled CMC TV showcasing the graceful/erratic dance steps performed by the employees from different departments and areas. Such number made the atmosphere livelier. Indeed, the two events displayed the energy and enthusiasm of Doctors and Employees to share their talents in the best they can. The presentations were among the most memorable from CMC’s treasure chest of memoirs.


It The month long celebration for CMC‘s 40th Anniversary kicked off with the Family Day 2010 held on May 23, 2010 at t he CMC property along Quezon Avenue. Activities formally started with a Holy Mass officiated by CMC Chaplain Father Ranie Orsolino followed by the dance competition, games, and ash raffle. Attendees were delighted by the surprise outpouring of cash prizes specially when Ms. Carmina C. Desales, COO extended the “draw and multiply” raffle with the major prize reaching a bounty of Forty Thousand (P40,000.00) Pesos in cold cash. The humid atmosphere did not spoil the enthusiasm of the attendees as they took the opportunity to enjoy the occasion with their peers and colleagues, a chance to unleash all the stress that bogged them for the previous week. The event enhanced the spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship, brotherhood and cooperation especially for the participants n the dance competition and the games as well. It served as an ice breaker to dust off the burden of one’s daily routine at work. Preparations for the affair were carried out by the committee headed by Over All Chairman Mr. Luis Antonio Clemente, assisted by Luisito Sanchez Chairman, and Jose Narciso Dumlao Co-Chairman. Appointed Coordinators from the different departments took the responsibility of organizing the participants for the games and the dance contest.
